GREAT GIG AT THE BELL
The gig at the Bell on Saturday was a great success, everyone enjoying the evening and the music on show from a very 'on-form' Unknown Identity. By the second set we got going and the crowd began to really enjoy the music (although the rugby was a bit of a let down, bleddy England). One of the members of the crowd offered us recording at his studio and to be a back-up band at their gigs, so more on that bombshell later!
TIME CHANGE FOR THE BELL GIG
The Gig at the Bell has been changed to 7:40 to accomodate the rugby on show at The Bell that evening.
UNKNOWN IDENTITY TO PLAY AT 'THE BELL' IN HELSTON
The wedding party gig has been confirmed at 'The Bell' pub in Helston on Saturday 18th. Unknown Identity are the only band playing and we plan to start at 8:00pm, likely playing two similar sets of half and hour to 45mins long. The party isn't private, so come along and see us play for free this Saturday.
ANOTHER GIG LINED UP...
...For August the 18th for a wedding reception. We're still looking for more gigs from anyone needing a band for parties, weddings, festivals, anything really, so get in contact with one of us if your anywhere in Cornwall and we'll try and organise something!
NOTE RE RECORDING AND CD'S
We had problems trying to get everyone together when we wanted recording so we're now trying to line something up over the Summer, maybe in Culdrose or elsewhere. We'll let everyone know when we're done or have a date for being done. Thanks.
GOOD GIG IN GODOLPHIN
We had a good time in Godolphin this Saturday, playing in front of a small audience for two sets of half an hour. We had a tough job dealing without our bassist, Aidan, due to his amp blowing and travel arrangements getting dissapointingly in the way. Though small, the audience enjoyed the day nearly as much as we did, especially Max's brother, Theo, who munched Nathan on the tennis court... More on that story another day.. probably on Nathans blog on the band page. For photos and hopefully a video of the event, click here
UNKNOWN IDENTITY
Hi everyone. This is Charlie Tokeley the lead guitarist from our band 'unknown identity' here. We're based in South Cornwall (In England - if you don't know where that is there's not much point in hiring us) and we play a sort of 'mild rock' chili peppers 'esque type style of music.
We're happy to play anywhere for anyone for a small price. We charge £20 per gig (may be less or more depending on the duration of our playing). To be honest, we just enjoy playing so we're not interested in charging super high fees, we're happy to listen to any offers. We'll do our first gig for free also! Contact us here
NEWS - NEW SITE FEATURES
We are planning on adding several features to this site in the coming week. We record on Tuesday, and, all going well, will be able to have a soundclip or three on the site by Wednesday maybe? We are having a full day rehersal on Sunday so we'll have some piccys of the band on the various pages like profiles and this page. We'll have our album covers with demo songs ready to listen to in the next couple of weeks as well as a possible video clip or music vid of our band for watching.
Keep posted, we'll keep updating!
